Silversmithing & Construction

The Foti Mahalia Earrings begins as a hand-sculpted wax model before being cast in 925 sterling silver through the lost-wax process. After casting, each earring is hand-filed to refine edges, then polished to bring out the bright silver finish. The oxidized areas — those darker sections in the recessed Foti artwork — are achieved through a controlled patination process that gives the piece its three-dimensional depth. The result is a earring with genuine weight and substance that you can feel the moment you pick it up.

Earring Care
